Good Thing the Floor's Padded

With ski season just around the corner, we'll be posting pre-season training tips and routines from Eric Henderson, Andy Jacobsen and others next week. In that spirit, I thought it'd be fun to lead off on a lighter note heading into the weekend, and saw this gem on YouTube, which demonstrates that sometimes the workout can be more of a contact sport than the endeavor it's preparing you for.

Looks painful, but looks like he got it eventually. That's the kind of balance and strength that makes for a strong season!

brings to mind the alleged Ansel Adams quote: "The difference between a good photographer and a bad photographer is that the good photographer only shows you his good pictures." The guy in the video's got balls.

Funny enough, I've tried this before...and ended up with similar results... great ski training no doubt... Another fun one is to start on your belly, and try to roll onto your back, and then back to your belly... Give yourself lots of room. It's pretty fun actually, but be prepared to go flying.
